We are Nick & Inma, husband and wife and an interesting mix of Sagitarians. We are passionate about furniture, interiors and upcycling and together we bring a combination of detailed design (Nick) and crazy creative skills (Inma).
In 2009, just when we found out that we were going to have our first son, we decided to renovate our old school house. It was a mix of cottage/60’s/70’s and 80’s styles. Since it was going to be a large project, we rented a caravan which we parked in our gated parking and lived there for 9 months (i.e the duration of my pregnancy) whilst we supervised the works, sourced every single material and decorated our dream home.
Our style is a combination of reclaimed furniture & modern features, natural shades with splashes of colour, quality materials and of course, upcycled & handmade pieces throughout.
We keep a small collection of upcycled furniture as we mostly focus on bespoke commissions. Whether you want to transform a small piece of furniture or redesign a room, we will guide you through the materials, furniture, colours, finishes and textiles that will best suit your requirements. We also work with a team of interior designers who share our values and style.
Inma comes from a background in IT Project Management, but changed her career (and life!) in 2010 and she now runs two creative businesses, The Old School Club, teaching (mostly women!) a wide range of creative skills in sewing, furniture painting, upcycling and modern upholstery; and Teach Craft Revolution, helping makers and upcyclers transform their hobbies into businesses.
Nick is an ACCA, FD, DIYer and an OOTT (Owner of One Thousand Tools)
